The word low sugar has become a bit of a buzzword in the dental community lately, especially with respect to low-calorie foods like fruits.
But what exactly does that mean?
It all comes down to how we define and eat low-sugar foods.
It also comes down, at times, to how much we like the taste of a particular fruit.
We all like different types of fruits, but we don’t all like the same types of fruit.
But let’s start with the most important part: low-carbohydrate fruits and vegetables.

Others are high-fat, high-salt foods that are low in calories.
Some are low on sodium and some are low calcium.
Low carb fruits and veggies are good for you because they contain fiber and nutrients that are good to you.
